RON92: Leaded or Unleaded?

lowly educated, at one time they were mostly Bangalai, thou they r in the
industry (in the words of FreshOil), but don't rely on their words, other
than cleaning ur windscreens, handle the hoses, usually they know naughts
about technical stuffs.

this country got petrol in 2 grades laa....RON92(red) AND RON97 (green.)
Shell V-power (blue color) also RON97.
Most station only sell RON97 petrol.

and they dont know much... Coincidencely, yesterday, I went to see Caltex
(opp sunway pyramid) and the manager was around. So, i started a
conversation and asked him about RoN92, and guess what! He said RON92 is
UNLEADED. What!!!! isk isk..

nowadays no more leaded fuel. Regardless 92 or 97

don't know much about Caltex fuel name cos i seldom visit caltex station.
but if Vortex Gold = ron97 and vortex silver = ron92. then they are both
unleaded as per ref to their web :-

their Primax. I suppose it's 97 and that goes for all the "green" nozzle
in almost every brand?

petronas.com.my + search + type "97 octane" + click "serch" +
click "technology" + u should b able to find primax.

Leaded petrol will kill the cat converters in your car if your car is
equipped with one. Cars like WAJA comes with cat converters.
