Don Advantage is the way to go! Cost less than EBC Green, but performance
almost the same. Mine lasted me about a year, including lots of track
days, genting, frasier's & bkt tinggi trips.

don advantage, now known as "tristor advantage". the don name is no
longer used. i used a set of don, and now, on my 2nd set called the
tristor.

i also use don advantage for my rear pads.

i've used EBC green, and changed to the 'don advant". its widely
available, and can be incredibly cheap when bought from spare part shops.

it lasts just slightly longer than the EBC, doesn't exactly have the
same 'bite' as the EBC, but they are pretty close.

I've also used them for track days, and lots of drives. Happy with their
performance. Quite fade resistant. Actually ran a 5lap CCT with them on
BT3 last year and survived..haha

the best and cheapest alternative i feel. decent performance on a budget.
they also don't squeak like metal kings. but lots of brake dust though.

Thanks Glee, will keep a lookout for it.

Using EBC black, only last about 30K with some genting runs here and
there. Quite dusty but easilly hosed off unlike the OEM pads which tends
to stick the the rims.

err.. hehe.. they stick a bit to the rims also, but easy to wipe off. cant
just hose off.

of course.. ultimately.. i think the EBC green has a higher overheating
point. but for the price.. hard to beat the advantage pads :)

Glee, compare Don Advantage & Bendix Metal King Plus which one resist
fade better? Price is almost the same,which one to go for?

EBC Green Stuff is a good one but quite pricey. I have installed it when I
am at 10000 KM mileage. Now already 25000. When I should change my brake
pad again?
