Hi,
I think some of your "problems" are not that problematic.
1: The aircon condensation occurs in almost all 206 because there is a vent
that allows the air out onto the front windscreen and if it really bothers
you, they will block off the vent. Not a big problem for me cos it's only
about 1 to 2 inches and my windscreen is much deeper and bigger than normal
206 windscreen.
2, 3 and 5: QC issues due to first batch changing from Peugeot to naza
cosmetic badges. Already fixed anyway?
4: Not a problem as such cos the tiptronic gearbox is an adaptive gearbox
and it will change the gear shifting points and revs according to your
driving style. In any case, they have done it the quick way by resetting
the ECU for you.
6: This is a problem. I don't have rear doors on my 206 so don't experience
the same problem as you.
7: Fuel consumption: I think it is already very good compared to my
previous 2 litre car so I have no complains, even though mine is 1.6l
engine. Besides, doesn't the onboard computer tell you the FC? Mine does.
Never believe the aftermarket fuel savers, they are all con, as you've
already said. I think fitting them will also invalidate your warranty. So
best thing is to change your driving style to be more smooth and anticipate
the road conditions/traffic sonditions to avoid sudden braking/accelerations.

KLzodiac,
Thanks for your brief posting :)
Luckily mine doesnt have this long list of problem but i do agree some of
your comments on the change on RPM is slightly higher, mine is at 3300/
3400. As for the fuel consumption, i am not sure it's alright, for driving
around KL city, full tank (apprx: RM80??) will bring me around 400km+. Is
this efficient for 206? Am interested to know also what are the fuel saver
options available in the market ...
you were saying "the warranty is not under C&C" . Is that true? I am not
sure about it. That day i went to C&C to reset my electronic diaplay, they
never charged me.
Gera, did u ask C&C regarding this?

affleck,
I'm about to ask you abt the C&C as well. As I'm keen to send my car to
them instead all the way to Klang (Naza own Puegeout specialist).
Anyway, coming back to your question - abt one months back ... there were
dispute between Naza and C&C, because apparently the first batch had too
many problems, and C&C is complaining to Naza, and asking Naza to pay
them on their effort to fix all the mess. Naza get upset and 'revoke' C&C
from their list of authorize service center.
I dont know how long it last, may be Naza discovered that it is not a
good idea to revoke C&C, as they themselves not fully competence to
support the 206, hence they might reinstate the appointment.
Btw, which C&C did you send your car to?
Cheers

KLzodiac,
But the first batch 206 was ssembled by PUG (not Naza) and there is no
reason for C&C to complain since C&C has been doing these tasks all this
while. If what u said is true, meaning that C&C will only charge the first
batch of 206? what about 2nd, 3rd... batch? If that happen, means double
standards dee... something is not right.. they should look into it again.
I send to the C&C at Jalan 225, PJ

Afflect,
I been told that the first batch is also assembled by NAZA, the only diff
is that the local content is lower (about 5% instead of 30-40% for
others). FYI, for the first batch Naza did not install the external
temperature sensor ... Naza then have to recall all first batch back and
install the temperature sensor on the spot. Well, not sure whether it
really affected all first batch, but when I did mine, there were at least
4-5 others Bestari (1st batch) being called as well at the same time.
Plus, if it really being assembled by Pug , then why mine have so many
workmanship problem. Hence, i almost certain that Naza is still the one
assembling the 1st batch.
Cheers

klzodiac,
yeah man, i have the same thinking. So that means all the -1st batch is CBU- issue is actually
untrue?
anyway, it doesn't matter as long as its stil under warranty. PUG stil make the spare parts and not
NAZA.
mine also went thru the temperature sensor defect, and faced some small workmanship problem.

Hi all,
This is a great forum guys...Just got my 206 end of last week - still
getting used to all the system now.
Am puzzled by the central locking system though - does it automatically
unlock at all? I noticed that it only unlock if one of the front
passengers open their door. Is that how it is suppose to be?

umeimei,
mine is even better, sometimes the rear door wont even unlock when the
front door being open :( , but again that's because it is faulty, already
sent to Naza to fix it twice, but it only wont temporarily ...after
couple of days it happened again. Considering to send it to C&C ...
perhaps they can do better job than Naza.
arist188,
I really am wish the 1st batch is CBU, but I doubt so ... still very much
believe it is CKD with less local content.
But to me, if i can get my rear door problems fix, then i'm a happy 206
owner, regardless of whether it is CBU or CKD.
cheers
