Charade 995cc. CB80 (uk spec model) not CB70 (jdm model). He use to run
lean when reach 110kmh without boost some AFC trick. The car run very lean
at that speed when the paddle tap the mixture run rich back. The engine
idle rev at 250rpm but stable but aircond on will get 900rpm. The
wonderfull thing that owing a CB23-CB80 engine is the aircond have it is
own air cond ECU you can set the idle rpm not like plotong. Fuel
consumption can be control by using AFC, run lean at constant speed ie highway.
Hiway back to perak convoy using hiway he only fill up RM40.00 of fuel
cover up 600++ km. during fuel price rm1.41/1l. His only about45kg driving
lightweight car.
