weelson, it is possible. No mods..

0 to 70kmph = 1 minute

70 to 100kmph = 30-45 seconds

gear change are made at around 3k rpm

The key is to predict the traffic.

let say you go 60kmph, but you are not accelerating, go to the 5th gear,
and press the accelerator slightly to keep up with the traffic. In case you
want to overtake, drop one gear. If you are approaching a junction, release
to neutral (not recommended for cars that has idling problem)

remember a guy did 1000++ km journey, KL to johor, on a single full tank in
a subara impreza station wagon.. :)

oh yeah, minimum aircond, and keep your air cond coils clean.

i know fuel consumption is all about ur driving habits.. but i dun tink i
can maximize my FC to 20Km/l! dat's like double my FC .. haha!

FYI, i do have kinda good fuel-saving habits myself.. i ease on the
accelerator when im reaching a junction or a stop.. i tend to go faster and
cruise on neutral.. i usually change gear around 2.5-3k RPM..

one more thing i wanna ask.. there's specific gear with specific speed..
wat if i engage in a gear b4 i reach optimal speed? or shud i drag the rpm
more only engage in higher gear? wat are the effects on both ways?

sorrie if dis is a bit out of topic..

for me, i always shift from 1-2-3-5. i seldom use 4th gear unless
nacessary la.. shifting at <2k rpm, avoid sudden acceleration and
decelaration, make your right foot lazy unless for braking, use minimal
air cond, driving and refueling at night, no tailgating, plan your
journey, use semi-syn, correct tyre pressure, no unnacessary weight on
board, and no modification.
