Manage to download c4 manual today from the internet. Seem to me it is not for Malaysia. Ron95 can be used and that is a good news. It tells me that the c4 has low compression ratio.

But the car is reaching his 6 years old and the distance travelled is more than 100k, I do not know whether ron95 is still suitable. Any advice will be most appreciated

salam aziz,
i have been using the C4 for the last 5-6 years...no problem. You can use Ron 95 from shell, esso or caltex no problem. For the ATf oil recommend synthetic type but 'normal' pun ok
C4 very comfortable car to drive long distance

nice to meet you bro ajbdar

Yeap though I mentioned ron95, I still do not know which additive is recommended. I 've been using those from petronas, perhaps I should now change to your suggestion. They are paying tax to the country as well.

Today, I replace the catalytic converter of exhaust system for my Kia cares. It is already 7 years old. Before the sound is quite rough and I feels that the fuel consumption is rather high. Today I felt I am driving a new car, got fresh sound and quiet. The exhaust expert said that they have tested all model and are confident with that fitted to the car. Otherwise the instrument panel will show an engine problem. I will also plan to replace the muffler part. I wonder if you ever change your exhaust part after using the car for that long. Appreciate if you can recommend any suitable model and and your exhaust expert.

Currently I stay in bangi but work in pekan pahang. This is the sad reason why I have to let go my old Suzuki jimny for c4. Take me 4.5 hours (320km) at averaged of 60kmh even though on nonstop journey. Cannot wait to test the c4 smile_blush.gif

Good day all sifu

Yesterday test drive the used c4 for the first time. The salesman park the car nicely on the road edge. Smell good I think he activate theordoor removal sensor and switch on the perfume actuator. The car is full of electronic gadget similar to my friend car the new c class compressor that cost him rm 180k. The salesman ask me whether I am familiar with auto or manual and I said put in auto mode. And he put the gear knob on m. Okay he said just drive. Just like a dumb cow, I just press the accelerator and feel very uncomfortable with the rpm reading as the rpm is reach to 6k but the second gear is not engaged. Can somebody tell me what is happening smile_clown.gif

Of course it will not shift up to second gear if you are on MANUAL mode . If you want to drive it in auto mode , I think the gear lever should be in the D slot .

look like it on shiftronic mode - it manual then, you have to do the shift without clutch.
