DC18 & all,
Saw a 05 Focus 1.8 in Star ads going for rm79k.
It is value for money? How much FM selling a 06/08 model?

Hi hhhlow14,
I went to check out the car myself and did not go for it as the colour is
not to my liking.
It is an 05/05, mileage about 50+k. Go and check it out yourself as the
owner really take care of his car.
I will have to agree that 75k/76k will be the ideal price.
Cheers!

Hi DC18,
Nice to know you "virtually" here :).
Nope, I did not check out the White MK2 as I am scouting for 1.8 sedan.
But now I am rather hesitating as I am worried that the future fuel price
could be a hugh setback for me, thus I might be looking for a fuel
efficient car instead.
You know the thoery about about a car with your heart or with your head?
I am in that spot now :(.

Hi Speedsnail,
We are in the same boat, i am more into 2.0 and before price hike if
there were no gd used unit i could have bought a new unit already.
With the uncertainty now, will wait till august to see any sandiwara or
not unless used unit is selling at attractive price.
You can call those dealer as on n off they do sell those preowned unit.
Why focus? i just like a driver car and like the MK1 since it was launch
and planning to use for more than 5 years so depreciation is still ok for
me.

It was always nice to know another FF's enthusiast here :).
By the way, have you been visiting the FordMotor Enthusiast Club? There
are more information and livelier forums as you can meet all the owners
and sifus there. Check it out yourself?

Yeah, I have to agree with you on this.
Well, the perception of most of the Malaysian drivers of a good car are
kind of framed by the government indirectly due to varios factors and I
choose not to elaborate further.
Let me pose a one million dollars question here to all forumers here, is
good resell value one of the characteristics of a good car? :P
