shy78,
On maintainance wise, I beg to differ, unless you are comparing to non-
genuine Toyota parts. I owned Harrier, the parts price from Toyota
(offcourse genuine parts) more expensive than Ford. But if you get non-
genuine parts, yes, it is cheaper... BUT would you risk your life by
using non-genuine parts????????
Some examples: Brake pads = RM300 (front + rear) for non-genuine, but at
Toyota RM350 for front only & RM400 for rear!. I compare them, definately
I can easily spot the differences. Oil filter RM10 at shop, RM30 at
Toyota! and many more..

I have come to my sense and not purchasing the above unit as seller stops
at 95k and i still find it not worthwhile.
As now 07 make is selling at 10k less and lower interest rate compare to
used, therefore the nett effect on installment is less than 100 or even
50 and having better value since is 07 compare to 06.

ashabmy..
bro, my friend wants to sell off his Focus 2.0 for RM 85k. Do you think
thats a good price? His car is in perfect condition. Its a 2006 / reg.
2007 Feb. Its clocked around 18k mileage. Took it for a spin and was
impressed with the road holding, esp. when its wears a Pirelli P7 shoes..
I'm also helping him look around coz its over my budget at the moment..
Any advise?

DC18 is a wise dude. Unless there is a huge difference between used and new
price, go for the new. It may be pretty but it has history.

mileage at 3k km seems very low. What reason did the owner want to sell it
so fast? Maybe something wrong with the car - ? Just curious.
