Things are looking up for Porsche’s electrification drive as Porsche Asia Pacific (PAP) recorded its best ever first quarter just recently.  In Q1 of 2021, PAP delivered 827 sports cars which represents a 28% growth compared to the previous year.

Porsche Taycan_TrackNearly half (47%) of the Porsches delivered were either battery electric vehicles (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). This puts the company on the fast track to realise its global ambition to have half of all its new vehicle sales by 2025 consist of electrified vehicles (full electric or hybrid). Of the electrified cars delivered to customers, 150 units (about a fifth of total deliveries) were the first deliveries of the all-electric Taycan.

Together with New Zealand, the three neighbouring markets of Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia emerged as top performers, highlighting the importance of Southeast Asia to the brand. Recognising the high business growth potential that the region holds, the ASEAN countries will remain a key focus area for Porsche as the company continues shaping the future of the sports car.

Porsche Taycan_SepangMore than 60% of the Taycan owners who took delivery of their electric sports cars in the first quarter are completely new to the Porsche family. This is testament that the initiatives Porsche introduced to accelerate the age of electric mobility are quickly gaining traction.

“The collaborative mindset and pioneering spirit that drives the Porsche team including our importer partners has proven instrumental in sparking innovative ideas and delivering strong results. It is also encouraging that customers appreciate our enduring commitment to making sure that every Porsche is a sports car, as both our hybrid and fully electric vehicles have been received with even greater enthusiasm and passion than expected,” said Arthur Willmann, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Asia Pacific.

Following the launch of the Taycan, and the introduction of carbon-offsetting initiative Porsche Impact in 2020, sustainability will continue to be an important focus for Porsche Asia Pacific this year.

Porsche_Shell_High Performance Charging Network_Singapore_MalaysiaA recently announced collaboration with Shell will enable the implementation of the first cross-border high performance charging network in Southeast Asia. This charging network will connect Singapore and Malaysia, allowing Taycan owners to drive longer distances. The partnership covers six Shell stations equipped with 180 kW direct-current (DC) chargers, offering the highest charging capacity across both countries. The initiative underlines the brand’s commitment to spearheading connectivity in the region.

Porsche Centre_Customer Lounge_Cafe_ShowroomIn addition, PAP will continue to place priority to deliver new experiences that excite and engage customers and potential fans. There will be more fresh initiatives and partnerships in the pipeline for the region.

The retail network is also set to expand further, following the recently opened Porsche Centre Ara Damansara and the upcoming Porsche Centre Johor Bahru in Malaysia.

PAP is also committed to keep bringing the brand to new audiences via uncharted avenues. Following the “Driving Tomorrow” pop-up exhibition hosted at Singapore’s Jewel Changi Airport that attracted over 20,000 visitors earlier this year, the new Porsche Studio Hanoi in Vietnam’s vibrant capital led the way as the global pilot for a new store concept that brings a more contemporary, boutique-like feel to the brand’s urban retail format.

Finally, customers and enthusiasts can also continue to expect a robust sports car line-up, starting with the recent introduction of the fourth model in the Taycan family, as well as the upcoming new 911 GT3, ensuring the Porsche vision of offering a dream car for every type of customer is very much alive in the new year.

The first official images of the latest limited edition Ferrari has been released ahead of its global debut. The premiere of this special series Ferrari will be broadcast live on the Maranello marque’s social media channels on 5 May 2021 at 14:30 CEST.

Ferrari V12_Limited Edition_RearThe new model is based on the critically acclaimed 812 Superfast. It represents the ultimate expression of Ferrari’s concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta, honing the characteristics of the 812 Superfast to a level never seen before. The car epitomises the company’s 70-plus years of experience on the world’s circuits, drawing on its thoroughbred sports car DNA to deliver a perfect marriage of performance, form, and function. Aimed at Ferrari’s most passionate collectors and connoisseurs, it features numerous uncompromising engineering solutions to guarantee peerless driving pleasure.

The most striking feature of this limited edition car is the latest evolution of Maranello’s legendary 65° V12 engine. This engine reaches the highest output of any Ferrari road car engine i.e. 830 cv (819 hp), and revs to 9,500 rpm, also the highest of any Ferrari ICE. This result is attained through the use of state-of-the-art materials, the redesign of many key engine components, a new valve timing mechanism and a new exhaust system.

Ferrari_Limited Edition_V12_Special SeriesThe brutal power is paired with class-leading vehicle dynamics controls to ensure that the performance can be fully exploited to guarantee maximum fun behind the wheel. Most distinctive of these solutions is the adoption of independent steering on all four wheels. This enables a higher level of agility and precision when cornering as well as provides unparalleled responsiveness to steering input. Another noteworthy engineering achievement is the development work undertaken to reduce the car’s overall weight compared to the 812 Superfast. This was achieved by extensive use of carbon fibre on the exterior as well as in the cockpit. Lastly, the new model premieres version 7.0 of the renowned Side Slip Control vehicle dynamics system.

The car’s physical attributes have also been revised, with in-depth aerodynamic research altering the car’s lines. Working in close synergy with the Ferrari Styling Centre, the aerodynamicists have adopted solutions that are extreme in form, featuring profiles that are unprecedented for a road-legal car. The aerodynamic redesign of the whole car is to maximise downforce levels, from the new front air intakes, rear diffuser and exhaust configuration, to the patented design of the rear screen which now hosts vortex generators. Every modification is a faithful expression of Ferrari’s core belief that form must always follow function.

The design of this special series has a strong personality of its own that differentiates it significantly from the 812 Superfast on which it is based. This was achieved by choosing styling themes that further enhance the architectural design and dynamism of the 812 Superfast, pushing its sporty vocation to new extremes.

Ferrari Limited Series V12_Special_TopAn example of this is the replacement of the rear glass screen with a single-piece aluminium structure. The vortex generators it sports improve the car’s aerodynamic efficiency, but the design solution chosen, which is fully integrated with the roof, simultaneously creates a backbone effect that underscores the car’s sculptural forms.

Ferrari Limited Series_V12_SideTogether with the carbon fibre blade that traverses the bonnet, this motif changes the overall perception of the car’s volumes. The bonnet seems shorter, emphasising the width of the car, while the tail now has a more powerful, fastback look, making it appear more compact and competition-like despite sharing the 812 Superfast’s silhouette, proportions and formal balance. Even the rear spoiler now looks more imposing. It is higher but the specific design treatment used also makes the tail look very wide, almost horizontal.

Ferrari Limited Edition_V12_Special Series_Cockpit_SeatsMeanwhile, the interior architecture retains the 812 Superfast styling of the main dash and door panel interfaces and volumes, including the signature diapason motif. Along with other elements of the interior, the door panel has been redesigned to reduce weight. Combined with the introduction of the H-gate theme on the tunnel, this lends the cockpit a sportier, more modern edge that reflects the car’s racing spirit.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars collaborated with Japanese architect, Kengo Kuma, to create a Bespoke Rolls-Royce Dawn that bridges the luxury automotive and architectural worlds. This first-of-its-kind Bespoke Dawn is a singular motor car that is a moving representation of the new luxury residence ‘The Kita’ in central Tokyo. ‘The Kita’ is designed by Kengo Kuma upon commission by global luxury property developer, Westbank.

Kengo Kuma_Rolls-Royce Dawn_The Kita, JapanKengo Kuma leads Kengo Kuma & Associates (KKAA), an award-winning, Tokyo-based partnership established in 1990. The team’s expertise encompasses architecture, interior, and landscape design, and are renowned for cultural and civic projects. The use of detail, material, and nature are at the heart of its practice to strengthen the connection between human experience and the project surroundings, both natural and urban. Characteristic of Kengo Kuma’s architecture, ‘The Kita’ challenges the relationship between interior and exterior. The open-top RR Dawn is therefore a natural canvas for the accompanying motor car, a peaceful and cocooning private space where you are conversely never disconnected from the outside world.

The Bespoke Dawn is created for the exclusive use of the owner of the unique multi-level penthouse, ‘The Kita Tea House’, which sits atop the newly completed property in the tranquil yet central Kitasando neighbourhood. The penthouse is named for its rooftop tea house which is framed by views of the Eternal Forest of the Meiji Shrine and Kengo Kuma’s reborn Japan National Stadium.

Rolls-Royce_Kengo Kuma_Tread plateThe Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective worked in consultation with Mr Kuma and Westbank to ensure that the interior and exterior design reflected ‘The Kita’ in terms of materials, colour palette, texture and ambience. This provides the resident a seamless aesthetic and atmospheric transition from property to conveyance. The overriding aim for the Dawn’s styling was one of Japanese delicacy with a sense of precision seen in the clean lines of the building, creating a clarity of structure with a prevailing sense of calm, the design’s depth revealing itself softly and subtly. At the same time, both car and residence have a strong visual identity and a generosity of proportion that breaks Japanese norms: deceptively neutral yet deeply atmospheric; inherently practical, yet extremely comfortable.

Dawn’s exterior is rendered in Silver Haze, a multi-faceted colour that speaks of the silver-grey of the building’s core structural materials. When illuminated by the sun, it reveals a bronze sheen, a warmth that reflects the bronze koshi screen louvers on the exterior of the building and the bronze detailing of the interior. It is finished with a sleek Silver hood and clean-cut Black coachline. Bringing the interior and exterior together is the warm, intimate feel of natural open-pore Royal Walnut panelling on the rear deck, a nod to the rich Walnut panelling of the towering penthouse entrance lobby.

Inside, the sweeping contours of the Selby Grey leather interior are highlighted by Arctic White and Black accents, with seat belts in Slate Grey. In the first application of its kind for Rolls-Royce, the finish of the front fascia is gradated. Running the full width of the interior, the horizontal ombré transitions from Piano Selby Grey to Piano Black, a representation of the blended and fluid nature of the building’s luscious and innovative materials. The colour transitions from the residence’s luminescent grey-flecked Bianco Carrara marble, through to the light greys of soft brushed stainless steel and ceramic tile, and finally, to the dark granite and metallic tile.

Rolls-Royce Dawn_Kengo Kuma_The Kita Inlay_FasciaFurther, a stainless steel inlay of ‘The Kita’s’ logo is set into the fascia. This is the most delicate example of such an inlay that the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective has produced and is a gesture of solidarity with the great skill that went into crafting the residence’s unique hand-finished stainless steel fittings. The same lattice motif is applied in embroidery to the front headrests and the waterfall between the rear seats. Final touches include a specially designed Bespoke clock and Bespoke umbrellas colour matched to the interior, reflecting the discerning tastes of the architect.

Rolls-Royce_Kengo Kuma Dawn_The Kita_Bespoke“This is the first time I have consulted on a project of this kind and I am proud that I was able to do so for Rolls-Royce, a company with which I share a respect for traditional craftsmanship and a desire to bring out the best in natural materials.” shared Kengo Kuma. “Rolls-Royce has brought the essence of ‘The Kita’ into the car’s aesthetic, allowing the owner of ‘The Kita Tea House’ to take in their surrounding city environment. It is a great honour to see the car finally here at home in Tokyo.”

“The Bespoke Dawn is a beautiful addition to our body of work,” noted Ian Gillespie, founder of Westbank. “Kuma-san’s infuence on the Rolls-Royce Dawn is the embodiment of the serenity and beauty he has created in ‘The Kita Tea House’, as an extension of that memory for the individual to enjoy.”

Gavin Hartley, Head of Bespoke Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars commented, “It was an honour to collaborate with Kengo Kuma to create a serene and timeless motor car for a serene and timeless building. From the inception of the marque over 100 years ago, Rolls-Royce has transcended the automotive field, taking the tangible entity of a car and delivering its patrons the intangible: a truly unique experience. As this project demonstrates, through the authentic application of unique designs and materials, we can provide rare sensory experiences that reflect and enhance our owners’ multi-faceted lifestyles.”

Volvo Car Malaysia has updated its flagship sedan line-up with the launch of the new Volvo S90 Recharge T8. The “Recharge” label indicates Volvo’s line of plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) and electric vehicle (EV) models. In facelift form, the new Volvo S90 Recharge T8 empowers drivers to feel the difference when it comes to luxury, safety and sustainability.

Volvo_S90 Recharge T8_AWD_BadgeThe updated S90 premium sedan continues to use the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform and the Volvo’s Drive-E powertrain. The T8 Twin Engine set-up of internal combustion engine (supercharged and turbocharged) and electric motor can produce 407 hp and 640 Nm of torque, allowing it to do the century sprint in 4.9 seconds. The electric motor sits within the rear axle and is powered by a rechargeable 11.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. Power is managed by an 8-speed automatic transmission with Geartronic.

The combination of the four-cylinder engine and the powerful electric motor provides a powerful, performance-filled drive while producing lower CO2 emissions. The official average fuel consumption for the S90 Recharge T8 is 2.1 l/100km. This powertrain is also featured in all Volvo models built on the SPA, which underpins the 90 and 60 series launched in recent years.

Volvo S90 Recharge T8_Exterior“The Volvo S90 is the embodiment of luxury for us and now with its recharged design, we want to redefine the concept of ‘travel in style’ and showcase that ‘luxury’ can also equate to ‘safety’. The aesthetics of the car – from the chrome-accented exterior and refined trims, to the updated interior with a cleaner overall look – is Scandinavian luxury at its finest. And as a final touch, the T8 Twin Engine setup in the Volvo S90 Recharge T8 gives the driver a refined, agile and powerful driving experience,” said Akhtar Sulaiman, Marketing & Public Relations Director for Volvo Car Malaysia.

Similar to the XC90, the S90 Recharge T8 carries on the rich legacy of Volvo Cars through the pronounced elegance in Volvo’s design language. This blend of minimalist design and stylistic cues creates a premium image that is accentuated by Volvo’s key aesthetic features, such as the “Thor Hammer” LED headlight design, vertical chrome grille with the Volvo Iron Mark, and a bold and clean use of the Volvo “spreadmark” on the rear. Further, the tail lamps of the Volvo S90 Recharge T8 are also updated to bear a similar design to the recently launched Volvo S60 T8 R-Design.

Additionally, the Scandinavian motif is integrated into the cabin of the car to further enhance its overall look and feel. The inclusion of wood inlays, vertical air blades on each side of the Sensus user interface, perforated front seats and sunroof raises the bar on elegant aesthetics.

The Sensus panel on the Volvo S90 Recharge T8 ensures that the driver stays connected with intuitive technology and personalised convenience, featuring two front USB outlets that allow for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The intuitive 9″ portrait touchscreen gives easy and quick access to a full menu of safety features and in-car entertainment applications for an immersive media and audio experience.

As the range-topper, the S90 Recharge T8 gets a comprehensively upgraded Bowers & Wilkins sound system using a total of 19 speakers with an output of 1,400W to provide true high-end, in-car audio performance. The signature Tweeter-on-Top speaker is seamlessly integrated into the design contours of the S90 Recharge T8 and sits just above the dashboard.

This speaker system in the S90 Recharge T8 also employs Bower and Wilkin’s exclusive Nautilus™ speaker technology for an incredible clear and immersive listening experience. Several speaker updates, such as the new double-dome aluminium tweeters and the new generation mid-range speaker cones in Continuum™ composite, result in a more refined, pure and natural sound production.

Audio options include a Concert Hall Mode, which is modelled after the exact acoustic qualities of the famous Gothenburg Concert Hall, and a Jazz Club Mode, to simulate sound in the these locations.

Additionally, the S90 Recharge T8 also comes with a variety of standard Volvo safety features, starting with a chassis made out of boron steel for added body strength. This comes in combination with Volvo’s Intellisafe system, which equips the S90 Recharge T8 with the latest safety technology developed by Volvo, such as the Blind Spot Information Systems (BLIS), City Safety, Cross Traffic Alert, Front and Rear Warning and Mitigation Support, Lane Keeping Aid, Pilot Assist, a 180 km/h speed cap and many more.

“The fundamentals surrounding safety, design and performance are the same for this model as with any other Volvo. Through the dedication of our team, we are confident that this car checks all the right boxes to provide a premium driving experience. A plug-in hybrid that considers tomorrow without compromising today’s experience, the S90 Recharge T8 is luxury that makes a difference and is the perfect choice for people who embrace their uniqueness and stand out from the crowd,” added Akhtar.

The Volvo S90 Recharge T8 has a retail price of RM358,888. However, the current sales tax exemption puts it at RM339,315 (on-the-road, without insurance). The sales tax exemption period is expected to end on 30 June 2021 but is subject to confirmation.

Sport tyres with a softer rubber compound and optimised tread have been developed especially for the Panamera and are offered for the first time. The tyres provide for further improvement on lateral performance and are particularly suitable for sporty cornering.

Further, three new 20″ and 21″ wheels have been added to the wheel range, giving buyers a total of 10 different designs to choose from, including the Exclusive Design 21″ alloy wheel.

The chassis of the new Panamera performs a balancing act between sport and comfort effortlessly. With a redesigned chassis system and together with the even more precisely adjusted steering and the new generation of tyres, the new Panamera ensures improved lateral dynamics and greater precision, for enhanced driving comfort and cornering stability.

The adaptive shock absorbers, electronic roll stabilisation, steering system and revamped engine and axle mounts have all been optimised, with the objective to make the middle ground between sporty driving and comfort as expansive as possible.

Stopping power is courtesy of six-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front, and four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the rear. With single-piece brake calipers enclosed, the brake system in the new Panamera is lighter yet highly resistant to deformation, and provides for a short braking distance. Moreover, the pedal travel is tight, and the pressure point precise.

Providing comfort to the driver and occupants, while still retaining the sports car feeling comes naturally for the Panamera. Featuring the familiar 2.9L V6 biturbo engine, the new Panamera generates an output of 243 kW (330 PS) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm, that allows for a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.4 seconds. Top speed is 270 km/h. The coasting function of the eight-speed PDK transmission, which is activated in normal driving mode and already part of predecessor models, has also been improved to enhanc driving comfort and efficiency. The Panamera has an official combined fuel consumption of between 8.8 – 8.6 l/100 km, and combined CO2 emissions 201– 197 g/km, depending on the model.

The timeless and sporty ambience on the outside is extended to the interior of the new Panamera. Featuring high-grade materials and in keeping with the Porsche design DNA, modern infotainment and connectivity services are harmoniously integrated.

New multi-function steering wheels are now used, with their operating elements cleverly integrated into the design. With their visual cut-outs, they evoke the lightweight steering wheels found in racing cars.

Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the brand custodian of Porsche in Malaysia, has introduced the new flagship Porsche 911 Turbo S. This top-of-the-range 911 with enhanced dynamics has a retail price starting from RM2,235,463 (within the SST exemption period, and before selecting options).

Porsche_Sime Darby Auto Performance_Chris Hunter_CEO“The Porsche Turbo designation is synonymous with outstanding performance, even when it was first introduced. The forefather of all Turbos (the 930 generation) was indeed a technical revolution in car production and has been improved time and time again. This is even more so with the new 911 Turbo S. While it performs at the level of a super car, the daily driveabilty remains outstanding. It is this flexibility to react to different situations that makes the 911 Turbo S a personal favourite of mine. Combining unprecedented power, driving dynamics and comfort with efficiency builds a bridge from tradition to innovation with this new generation,” says Christopher Hunter, Chief Executive Officer of SDAP.

This range-topping 911 is powered by a new 3.8 litre boxer engine with two VTG turbochargers, which delivers 478 kW (650 PS) and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. The Turbo-specific eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) cuts 0.2 seconds from the zero to 100 km/h sprint, compared to its predecessor. Top speed remains unchanged at 330 km/h.

The new 911 Turbo S receives a new engine, based on the 911 Carrera engine generation. It features a completely redesigned air cooling system; new, larger VTG turbochargers in a symmetrical layout with electrically adjustable wastegate flaps, as well as the use of piezo injectors, which have significantly improved the vehicle’s characteristics with regard to responsiveness, power, torque, emissions and revving ability.

Further, this new six-cylinder engine is aspirated by a new intake system. In this instance, the previous routing of processed air and charged air cooling is swapped around i.e. part of the processed air now flows through the characteristic Turbo air intakes in the rear side sections. In front of the air filters, now situated in the rear wings, two other airflows have also been incorporated, through the rear lid grille. This means the new 911 Turbo S has four intakes with a larger overall cross-section and lower resistance, to help improve engine efficiency.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe driving dynamics of the new Porsche 911 Turbo S has been further optimised, with modified track widths, more developed aerodynamics and new mixed-sized tyre choices. Its track is now 42 mm wider at the front axle and 10 mm wider at the rear axle. The dimensions of the 911 Turbo S have also been increased significantly in line with the enhanced driving dynamics. It is now 45 mm wider above the front axle (1,840 mm) and 20 mm wider above the rear axle (1,900 mm). This is meant to contribute to the agility and sportiness of the car. For the first time, the 911 Turbo S transfers its power to the road with mixed tyres in two different sizes i.e. unique 255/35 R20 tyres in front, and 315/30 R21 in the rear.

Aiding the drive is the Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) feature which adapts the aerodynamic characteristics even more precisely to the driving situation, speed and selected driving mode, and resolves the age-old aerodynamic configuration dilemma: the contradiction between a low drag coefficient for maximum speed and low consumption, and high downforce for better driving dynamics. The comprehensive expansion of PAA makes it possible to achieve a much larger spread between the aerodynamic configurations for optimum driving dynamics and minimum drag. The adaptive aerodynamics now include controlled cooling air flaps at the front and a larger rear wing for even more downforce.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERATo improve aero, the active cooling flaps, the variable front spoiler lip as well as the larger extending and tilting rear wing deliver up to 15% more downforce, depending on the speed and driving mode. There is also a new Eco configuration where the rear wing is retracted over a large speed range so that the vehicle can be driven with minimum drag.

Also newly available is the Wet mode which helps driving stability in wet conditions. The extended but not yet tilted rear wing combined with the completely retracted front spoiler lip shifts the aerodynamic balance towards the rear axle when Wet mode is activated. This results in a higher rear-end and driving stability for greater safety on wet road surfaces.

Furthermore, in the event of full braking at high speed, the new airbrake function will activate automatically. The front spoiler and rear wing will move to the Performance position for higher drag and increased downforce to reduce the braking distance and improve driving stability during braking.

All these tweaks to Porsche’s sports car formula has resulted in a leap in performance for the 911 Turbo S. Its sprint from 0 to 200 km/h is one full second quicker than its predecessor i.e. 8.9 seconds. Thanks to the enhanced Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive, the transfer case can distribute significantly more torque, with up to 500 Nm being transferred to the front wheels.

The new generation Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) chassis is also even sportier. The electronic damper control is faster and more precise to provide significant advantages to the driving dynamics in terms of roll stability, road holding, steering behaviour and cornering speeds. These improvements provide for a perfect balance in terms of driving pleasure, dynamics and sportiness, and makes the 911 Turbo S ideal for everyday use as well as the race track.

On its appearance, the new front end with wider air intakes has a characteristic Turbo-look with dual front light modules as well as standard LED matrix headlights with dark inserts. The redesigned, pneumatically extendable front spoiler and the larger rear wing with its muscular sections with integrated air intakes emphasise the sleek body of the car. The new look of the rear is completed by rectangular tailpipes in high-gloss Black, typical of the Turbo.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMeanwhile, its interior comes in a standard high-quality and sporty finish. The standard equipment list includes a full leather interior and carbon trim in combination with Light Silver accents. The 18-way adjustable sports seats feature stitching that pays homage to the first 911 Turbo (type 930). High quality graphic elements and logos in the instrument cluster complete the characteristic Turbo S features. The centre screen of the PCM (Porsche Communication Management) is now 10.9″ and can be operated quickly without distraction thanks to its new layout with significantly reduced number of controls. Other features on board are the GT sports steering wheel, the Sport Chrono package with newly integrated Porsche Track Precision app and BOSE® Surround Sound system.

Additional new equipment options also underline the much sportier image of the all-wheel drive 911, including the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports chassis that has been lowered by 10 mm. The sports exhaust system with adjustable flaps also guarantees a distinctive sound, for an overall emotion-filled drive.
