Castrol, one of the world leading premium lubricant specialist has launched their ‘Be a Cling Hero’ campaign to recognise Malaysian parents who serve as guardians to instantly provide protection for their families, just like Castrol Magnatec, which instantly clings to the vital parts of your engine with its intelligent molecules, to provide protection from the moment you start your engine.

The campaign, which is designed to provide an opportunity for Malaysian parents to be a ‘Cling Hero’, will demonstrate Castrol Magnatec’s ‘CLING’ proposition through multiple touch points and showcase the importance of instant protection to drive home the message that up to 75% of engine wear happens mostly during warm up.

A cornerstone of the campaign is the global ‘Engine Rodeo’ TV commercial, which is accompanied by the new Castrol Magnatec Intelligent Molecules Experience mobile app where one can take on the Virtual ‘Engine Rodeo’ Battle played by shaking and tilting one’s tablet device. The highest scores stand the chance to win amazing prizes such as a family trip to Hong Kong Disneyland, Singapore Universal Studio and Samsung Galaxy S4.

To add further excitement, the campaign will also be featured at multiple consumer roadshows, through an array of fun-filled, interactive activities. The key highlight of the roadshow is Malaysia’s 1st Remote Controlled Engine Rodeo which parents and kids will have an opportunity to tag team together to experience it live! The live Remote Controlled ‘Engine Rodeo’ experience will demonstrate that even an expert in clinging, such as a rodeo cowboy, cannot out-cling Castrol Magnatec Intelligent Molecules.

At the roadshow, the Malaysian public will also get an opportunity to experience the ‘Instant Protection Family Zone’, where parents and their kids can learn more about instant protection for their car and road safety tips. This is done with kids having fun learning and driving miniature cars on a miniature track escorted by their parents where they will stop by four instant protection education pit-stops for fun and learn sessions.

The next Castrol roadshow featuring Malaysia’s 1st Remote Controlled Engine Rodeo will take place at AEON Bukit Indah Shopping Centre, Johor Bahru from 23 – 25 August 2013.
