UMW Toyota opens new B&P centre in Klang
UMW Toyota Motor has officially opened a new body & paint (B&P) centre at Bukit Raja, Klang last week on 2 May 2012. The new 5.7-acre facility is part of a RM200 million investment to develop a new Integrated Quality Hub (IQH) which also consists of a centralized vehicle stockyard, accessory centre, test track, and production parts warehouse.
The new facility effectively takes over B&P repair operations from the Sungai Rasah service centre, which will continue operating to serve standard servicing and repair requirements of customers. However, customers are still welcomed to check their vehicles in for B&P jobs at Sg Rasah. The cars will then be sent by service personnel to Bukit Raja.
According to UMW Toyota Motor’s President, En. Ismet Suki, the facility operates with the highest safety standards and is equipped with all necessary tools and repair equipment. This is to assure best repair quality and to ensure timely delivery to customers.
