Volkswagen opens new showroom in Kuantan
Volkswagen Group Malaysia (VGM) has expanded its dealership network to the East Coast of Peninsula having opened a new outlet in Kuantan operated by Okuan Otomobil Sdn. Bhd, an authorised dealer of VGM.
Volkswagen Group Malaysia’s Managing Director Mr. Ricky Tay said the launch of the showroom is part of Volkswagen’s rapid expansion plans in Malaysia, which was carried out extensively last year to extend the customer satisfaction experience. The Kuantan showroom’s launch comes in the wake of two new dealerships opened in Kuching and Ipoh.
“As the first showroom to be launched in 2012, we believe Okuan Otomobil will set the pace for Volkswagen to further strengthen its brand awareness and customer service in the region, especially in the state of Pahang,” he said.
“VGM is confident that Okuan Otomobil will be able to fulfil Volkswagen’s main guiding principles for Network Development, namely Optimised Coverage, Customer Orientation, Dealers’ Profitability and Investor Friendliness to their daily business practices, thus translating them into business achievements and results.” Mr Tay added.
With the Kuantan opening, the Volkswagen brand has 17 operational outlets nationwide.
