Malaysian dealer awarded Kia Dealer of the Year
Kia Motors Corporation (KMC) recently awarded 30 dealers worldwide the accolade Dealer of the Year 2009. Among the 30 recipients at annual award was Malaysia-based Public Star Sdn Bhd.
Public Star Sdn Bhd has been a dealer for Naza-Kia Sdn Bhd since 2002, and was one of only two dealers in the Asia-Pacific region to pick up the award at a gala dinner held at Melbourne, Australia in February 2010.

Ramasamy, managing director of Public Star.
Although Public Star is currently the only Malaysian dealership to have received this award from parent company KMC, it is no stranger to these proceedings, having picked up this award for the first time in 2007.
Public Star’s 3S dealership is based in Seremban and is one of only four Naza-Kia dealerships certified with ‘Platinum’ status. Before receiving its ‘Platinum’ status, a dealership is put through a 1,000-point check list that evaluates its standards on various aspects – sales satisfaction and customer satisfaction among them.
Only Platinum dealers are eligible for KMC’s Dealer of the Year award. Winners of the award are chosen based on their sales performance, facilities and customer satisfaction.
