PROTON Seeks New Dealer Partners For Its e.MAS EV Brand
At the recent launch of the Proton e.MAS brand, PROTON announced the appointment of the first 17 Proton e.MAS dealerships. An additional dealer has signed on subsequent to the e.MAS brand launch, making it 18 dealerships in total thus far. However, Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (a.k.a. PRO-NET) which will manage the e.MAS portfolio is seeking to further expand the Proton e.MAS dealership network to make the upcoming Proton electric vehicles more accessible to consumers across Malaysia. 
The establishment of 18 Proton e.MAS dealerships, represented by 16 dealers, is the first step in its plan to create an extensive and far-reaching network. Based on the current numbers, 17 of these outlets are strategically placed across Peninsular Malaysia i.e. 3 in Kuala Lumpur, 4 in Selangor, 2 in Johor, 3 in Perak, 2 in Pulau Pinang, 1 in Kedah, 1 in Kelantan, and 1 in Pahang; East Malaysia currently has 1 outlet located in Sabah.
The outlets will operate under a comprehensive network model, ranging from 1S centres to 3S centres, ensuring customers receive holistic and exceptional service at every touchpoint. This initial development aims to kickstart a comprehensive ecosystem, to ensure readiness for future Proton e.MAS owners. With that, PRO-NET is targeting to grow the dealer network to 30 by 2025 (depending on market demand) as it believes its partners are integral in creating community spaces for experiencing exceptional products, seamless digital platforms, aftersales services, and convenient charging options.

As such, PRO-NET is seeking partners to join its expanding network of Proton e.MAS dealerships particularly in Alor Setar, Kuala Terengganu, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Seremban, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat, Muar, Kuching, Sibu, Bintulu, Miri, Sandakan, and Tawau.
