Toyota Yaris G Limited Launched; Only 600 Units Available
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has launched the Toyota Yaris G Limited. And as the name implies, this B-segment hatchback will have a limited run of only 600 units for sale. With the Toyota Yaris G Limited, UMWT wants to offer an attractive package that comes with enhanced handling, upgraded performance and stylish design.
The Toyota Yaris G Limited has a price tag of RM99,600 (on the road without insurance). Furthermore, it is covered by a 5-year vehicle warranty with no mileage cap. In addition, this fun-to-drive hatchback’s performance parts are covered with a 1 year (or 20,000 km, whichever comes first) warranty to ensure an extra level of assurance for your driving experience.
The Yaris G Limited is built to embody Toyota Malaysia’s “Move Your World” vision, matching enhanced performance with style. There is more to it than a limited edition cosmetic release. Most obvious is the throttle controller and the cold air intake to improve driving responsiveness and efficiency. The Yaris G limited retains the 1.5L 2NR-FE engine with 107 PS and 140 Nm of torque, transfered through a 7-speed CVT to the 16″ front wheels. Although the maximum power output is unchanged, what has changed is the response rate in acceleration. The changing of gears can also be done with a pair of paddle shifters. Its suspension system has also been upgraded to a set that is tuned on the sportier side to improve cornering ability and responsiveness and offer a more exciting driving experience. It also gets chassis braces to increase rigidity and improve handling and stability. 
Drawing inspiration from Toyota’s extensive history in motorsports, the Yaris G Limited proudly wears its ‘LIMITED’ emblem, symbolising its exclusive status and performance pedigree. The Yaris G Limited has a new aerokit to set it apart from the other variants, as well as a 2-tone paint scheme with black roof, wing mirror and rear spoiler. Inside, the Yaris G Limited gets a new steering wheel and new multi-info display with a new Optitron speedometer design as well as new fabric covers on the seats and a pair of USB Type C ports for the rear.
Safety features include 7 SRS airbags, panoramic view monitor, blind spot monitor, hill assist control, pre-collision system and lane departure alert.
