Chery Auto Malaysia has come out with an official statement regarding the incident encountered by an Omoda 5 owner. In this recent incident, the owner reported on social media, with corresponding images, the failure of the SUV’s rear axle.

The said vehicle is now at a Chery service centre for a more thorough inspection. On our side, we will be publishing the update from Chery Auto Malaysia and refraining from making any speculation. Hopefully the inspection report can be completed soon and revealed to all parties.
