Exclusive PROTON Accessories Tint Centre Opens In Its Tanjung Malim Manufacturing Facility

PROTON has opened its Exclusive PROTON Accessories Tint Centre situated within its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tanjung Malim. This new establishment marks a significant enhancement of PROTON’s in-house tinting capabilities, with the capacity to fit tints for up to 5,000 vehicles monthly.

The inclusion of security tinting as a standard feature first began for Flagship and Premium variants of the Proton X90 when it was launched in May, 2023. This trend continued with the launch of the Proton S70 in November last year, where both the S70 Flagship and Flagship X variants came fitted with security tinting as part of the standard accessories package. PROTON plans to extend this option to other models in the near future with the purpose of providing more value to its customers.

There are numerous inherent benefits to having tints fitted by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) as opposed to going for aftermarket installation. These advantages include more precise fit and finish due to utilising pre-cut dies, stringent quality assurance protocols, compliance to JPJ regulations, and the elimination of common secondary defects associated with aftermarket installations. Moreover, customers are covered by a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty on all tinting services, to ensure confidence and peace-of-mind of PROTON’s products.
