Motul Promotes Motorsports With Title Sponsorship Of 12 Hour Of Sepang Endurance Race
Motul Asia Pacific moved from being an official Lubricant Partner to Title Sponsor of the 2024 12 Hours of Sepang endurance race. Held at the Sepang International Circuit last weekend (15 – 16 March), the Motul 12 Hours of Sepang race marks the French lubricant maker’s 2nd consecutive year of partnership with the Malaysian endurance race event. This year, a total of 17 teams with some of Asia’s best drivers across 3 categories tested their mettle in the challenging Malaysian climate.
Motul specialises in the formulation, production and distribution of high-tech engine lubricants for vehicles as well as lubricants for industrial applications. Motul’s sponsorship of the event not only highlights its unwavering support for motorsports but also underscores its commitment to the vibrant automotive community in Malaysia. The race provided a platform for Motul to strengthen relationships with distributors, partners, professionals, and enthusiasts, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in the automotive industry. 
Exclusive engagement activities were tailored for over 170 key customers, including pit tours with Malaysia-based Viper Niza Racing team, and informative technical training sessions comparing track and road products. A presentation on the CACE (Chemical, Additive, Care, and Essential) product range showcased various gear oils, brake fluids, and coolants, offering valuable insights into Motul’s innovative product lineup. Additionally, a presentation by Scantrust highlighted an anti-counterfeit and product traceability solution for Motul products, demonstrating its commitment to customer satisfaction and product authenticity.
