Leading car sharing platform, GoCar Malaysia has introduced its GoCar Garage service that offers a convenient one-stop car service and maintenance solution. GoCar Gaarage is available digitally within the GoCar mobile application.

GoCar Garage is offered to address an unmet need in the market for seamless and transparent aftersales solutions with trusted OEM-level ambience and service. This new solution is the latest from GoCar Malaysia, adding to the company’s focus to provide “mobility-as-a-service” solutions that disrupt the status quo using digital technology.

The service is targeted at the digitally savvy and mobile Malaysian car owners. The GoCar Garage platform delivers an end-to-end solution where you can easily select required services, confirm and pay for your service appointments and even arrange for pick-up and drop-off, at any time and from anywhere.

A key highlight of the GoCar Garage is the transparent pricing structures that you can review and pre-approve via the GoCar app before any job is started. This feature ensures that there will be no additional surprise costs, which is frequent occurrence with aftermarket / third-party workshops. GoCar Garage has a well-equipped service centre manned by skilled technicians who are proficient at servicing any brand and model of passenger vehicles thus provided greater peace-of-mind.

GoCar Garage’s range of services includes:

• Pit stop service – 45-minute oil change (excluding car wash and sanitisation). You have a choice of 3 types of engine oils i.e. fully synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral. Only ELF premium engine oils are used. This service is inclusive of the oil filter and drain washer, and starts from RM98
• Battery inspection & replacement
• Tyre services including free alignment and balancing for the purchase of 2 or more tyres
• Air conditioning repair & maintenance
• Brake repair & maintenance
• Engine cooling system & replacement
• Electrical diagnostics
• Body & paint repairs

You can start arranging for your vehicle’s servicing at GoCar Garage by downloading the GoCar mobile app and following 3 simple steps:

Firstly, to book an appointment, you will need to submit personal identification and vehicle information. You can then select the required services from the available menu.

Subsequently, you will be notified via the app on the cost breakdown for the selected services and the proposed appointment schedule. Only after you have given your confirmation and approval will GoCar Garage proceed with the job.

Once servicing is completed, you will receive a notification that the job is done and you can then make payment via the app. A downloadable official invoice will also be provided for your records. Payment options available include credit and debit cards, online banking and GoPocket points.

You can also choose to collect your vehicle from the GoCar Hub or arrange for drop-off at your preferred location using the GoValet service. The GoCar Hub is strategically located on Jalan Kemajuan in Petaling Jaya.
