Cycle & Carriage Opens Its 12th Mercedes-Benz Autohaus In Malaysia
Cycle & Carriage has opened its 12th Mercedes-Benz autohaus in Malaysia i.e. the Cycle & Carriage Sungai Pinang, to cater to its ever-growing customer base in the north. The opening of this 2S centre coincides with its 125th anniversary, with its tradition of providing exceptional journeys to its customers.
Located along Jalan Sungai Pinang in George Town, Penang for easy accessibility, this new facility covers an expansive 90,000 square feet, with the building having a built-up area of 56,822 square feet. The service area is spread over 5 floors.
This 2S service centre happens to be the only Mercedes-Benz body and paint centre in Penang. Comprising 21 service and repair bays, it has a service capacity of 550 vehicles per month, where customers can expect world-class services from Cycle & Carriage’s skilled technicians. Designed with exceptional customer experience in mind, the service centre features the latest Mercedes-Benz retail brand presence. Customers are welcomed by the brand’s Star Assistant, and get to enjoy personalised service at the Consulting Room, as well as a relaxing atmosphere in the lounge area.

The Cycle & Carriage Sungai Pinang is also a showcase for the brand’s commitment to sustainability and the environment. As a Green Building certified with a Gold rating, the facility incorporates a range of eco-friendly initiatives, including a façade design that minimises heat penetration, solar panels, energy-efficient air-conditioning systems, LED light fixtures equipped with photocell and motion sensors to maximise energy savings, and uses an Energy Management System for real-time building monitoring of energy usage. In addition, the facility is also equipped with a rainwater harvesting tank to ensure responsible water usage, and super-fast 180 kW DC chargers. 
Cycle & Carriage Sungai Pinang is also unique in the sense that while it stands 5 storeys tall, it does without road ramps. Instead, the building uses car lift systems to move the cars. The system is built with redundancies and a 100% backup power supply to ensure uninterrupted operations, even during emergencies.

Cycle & Carriage Sungai Pinang is open 8am to 5pm on weekdays, 8am to 12pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.
