Flagship Chery 4S Showroom Opens In Kuantan
Chery Malaysia is expanding its retail network with the opening of a flagship 4S (sales, service, spare parts and body & paint) showroom in Kuantan, Pahang. Operated by EVenergy Auto Sdn Bhd, this Chery 4S is its first and largest in the East coast. It expects to serve the population of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan.
The opening was officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Wan Rosdy Bin Wan Ismail, Menteri Besar of Pahang; Mr. Leo Chen, Executive Vice President of Chery Malaysia; and YB Lee Chean Chung, Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya, along with industry partners.
The Chery Kuantan dealership is also the first in the country to offer a preview of the all-electric Omoda E5 SUV. Mr. Lee Chean Seng, Director of EVenergy, expressed their honour in being the first showroom to present an exclusive preview of Chery’s latest EV model. 
“The target set by the Kuantan Municipal Council to install 160 charging stations by the year 2025 will further accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles among the people of Pahang,” said YAB Dato’ Sri Wan Rosdy, who also took a test drive to experience the E5.
“Following the recent visit Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. Chairman, Mr. Yin Tong Yue, to Minister Tengku Zafrul of MITI, over Chery’s commitment to invest over RM1 billion Ringgit in Malaysia, and this investment aligns with the New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (#NIMP2030), specifically focusing on promoting locally manufactured electric vehicles (EVs),” Mr. Lee Wen Hsiang, Vice President of Chery Malaysia shared. Chery is making commitments to promote sustainability, innovation, and accessibility in the transportation segment.
