Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd Opens Authorised Hino 3S Centre In West Port, Klang
Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd has opened the latest authorised Hino 3S centre in West Port, Klang. This is the first 3S centre in West Port, and will provide total support to Hino’s customers running logistics and transportation services in the port area.
The new 3S centre’s facility has 27 service bays which include 10 trailer bays that can fit 20-feet and 40-feet trailers, as well as 2 tyre bays for tyre-related work. Hino customers can also enjoy a variety of amenities within the facility, such as the comfortable lounges, complimentary WiFi, and free flow of refreshments.
Besides service maintenance and repair work, Truck Solutions also offers convenient services for customers, including weekly PUSPAKOM arrangement, on-site inspection, and 24-hour towing truck services.
“Port Klang was listed as our targeted area as it is the main trade route for import and export in Malaysia and there are high numbers of trucks passing in and out of this area. We see the need for authorised 3S centres or one-stop solutions to support customers as well as to ensure the quality of Hino products and promise genuine parts supplies,” said Atsushi Uchiyama, Managing Director of Hino Motor Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
The high numbers of UIO (Units in Operation) in Port Klang indicated to Hino to consider a plan to open at least 1 3S centre in West Port, a multi-cargo terminal. West Port handles all types of cargo in containers, breakbulk, dry bulk, liquid bulk, vehicles (roll-on roll-off) and other conventional cargo.
Truck Solutions was established in 2007 as VM Fleet Management Sdn Bhd, and has been in heavy-duty prime mover services, providing one-stop service solutions to the haulage industry. Its partnership with Hino started in 2020 as the first HASO (Hino Approved Service Centre), and due to its good track record, is now an officially appointed Hino Authorised 3S Centre.
“Besides its strategic location in Port Klang, Truck Solutions has more than 10 years in truck servicing and their facilities meet our requirement to be Hino authorised 3S centre. We do not hesitate to appoint them as our new 3S, based on their excellent record track as our HASO in past 2 years,” said Atsushi Uchiyama.
The opening of the 3S centre was officiated by Uchiyama-san and Edward Tan Kim Siong, Executive Director of Truck Solutions. By strengthening Hino’s presence here, Truck Solutions aims to make a mark in the area and promote Hino’s quality products as services, particularly the HINO 700 Series Prime Mover.
The Truck Solutions Hino 3S centre is located at Lot 148, Jalan Sungai Penang 4/8, Taman Perindustrian Indah, 42920 Pulau Indah, Selangor. Operation hours are: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; and Saturday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
