In the styling department, the 2023 Proton Exora receives exterior updates in the form of the new round PROTON logo on the front grille and tailgate. There is however, no “Infinity Weave” design for the front grille like other PROTON models, with the horizontal slats staying put. But, it is fitted with LED daytime running lights. Furthermore, the addition of a black roof with black rear garnish as an exterior accent gives the 2023 Exora a more stylized presence. Other exterior features include 16” alloy wheels in dual tone finishing, side skirting and a rear spoiler.Proton Exora_Rear

The interior of this 7-seater MPV will also feature leatherette seats, as well as armrests for the front seats for better seating comfort. Also, there are individual air-conditioning vents for each row of seats for comfort and faster cooling. The air-conditioning system also includes an N95 cabin filter fitted as standard, to improve cabin air quality. Furthermore, the driver gets a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel.Proton Exora_Interior_Dashboard_Infotainment_Steering_Seats

With 4G and WiFi connectivity, the infotainment system allows for easier online navigation, music streaming, and even weather forecast. The system has neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto but features smartphone connectivity to mirror your Android device. There are also 2 USB ports available in the cabin to charge your electronic devices.

Safety-wise, the 2023 Proton Exora is fitted with a pair of front SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). There are also rear parking sensors and a reverse camera to aid with parking.

Providing drive to the Exora’s front wheels is the familiar 1.6L turbocharged engine that is paired with a CVT (continuously variable transmission). The engine produces 140 PS and 205 Nm of torque, and is matched with PROTON’s proficient ride and handling.
