Temporary Closure Of Honda Malaysia And Dealer Showroom Operations
Honda Malaysia has decided to temporarily close its business operations to support the government’s effort to control the spread of COVID-19. The temporary closure involves the operations of Honda Malaysia’s production plant in Melaka, its sales office and dealer showrooms nationwide. This closure took effect on 1 June 2021 and will end on 14 June 2021. Honda Malaysia will resume operations on 15 June.
However, aftersales services at all Honda dealerships will continue serving customers. Honda Malaysia encourages all customers to download the HondaTouch application for a faster and simpler aftersales services appointment process. It is necessary for you to set a prior appointment via the app before going to the dealerships and to avoid long waiting times. Walk-ins are not allowed. Further, it is compulsory for you to make the appointment with the nearest dealer to you i.e. within 10 km radius from your home, to ensure acceptance of your car for service.
The aftersales services available during this period are preventive maintenance, Body and Paint (BP) and towing assistance.
All Honda dealerships will continue to strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the safety of Honda customers and associates as well as to provide customers peace of mind when visiting the dealerships.
Honda Malaysia believes that “Together As One”, Malaysians can overcome the pandemic for brighter days ahead. It also apologises for any inconvenience caused during this time.
