New Exterior Colour Added For Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has added a new exterior colour to the Triton pick-up truck line-up. However, the new colour, Sun Flare Orange Pearl, is only available for the flagship Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X variant. Triton Adventure X already has Jet Black Mica and White Diamond as colour options.

Besides the new colour, a new silver stripe design for the side profile has been added to enhance the Adventure X’s sporty and rugged appearance.

The Mitsubishi Triton Adventure X comes standard with class-leading safety features i.e. Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist (BSW with LCA), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS), Auto High Beam (AHB) and 7 SRS airbags.

The Triton Adventure X is priced at RM137,900 (Peninsular Malaysia), RM138,628 (Sabah), RM138,715 (Sarawak), and RM130,654 (Labuan). These prices are on the road, for private registration and without insurance. It is covered by a 5-year or 200,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).

FYI, the Mitsubishi Triton is powered by 2.4L MIVEC turbodiesel engine with variable valve timing, producing 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission for seamless and responsive acceleration.

The four-wheel-drive variants are fitted with the Super Select 4WD II system for optimal traction and handling in various terrain. The addition of Off-road Mode settings controls engine power, transmission and braking to regulate the amount of wheel slip and maximise all-terrain performance. The Triton is also equipped with Hill Descent Control to electronically control vehicle speed while in descent mode.

Furthermore, the Triton has a best-in-class turning radius of 5.9 meters making it easy to park or turn in tight spots.

MMM Authorised Dealers Package

MMM has included accessories upgrades via its authorised dealers for the Triton Adventure X. This includes an All Round Monitor which uses multiple cameras around the vehicle to create a bird’s eye view to aid parking and manoeuvring. Also included for the Triton Adventure X is the Driving Video Recorder (DVR) to record incidences on the road.

Other standard features in the Triton Adventure X are leather seats and 7″ touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-ready connectivity.
