Malaysia Autoshow 2020 Postponed To July Amid COVID-19 Concerns
We have already witnessed the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show become a casualty of the COVID-19 coronovirus outbreak. So it is not surprising to hear that our own Malaysia Autoshow 2020 will be sharing the same fate. However, according to the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), Malaysia’s largest annual automotive event – the Malaysia Autoshow 2020, which had been schedule for 9 – 12 April will only take a hiatus.
The postponement of the auto show was decided on as MARii prioritises the health and safety of all those involved with the exhibition i.e. exhibitors, participants, visitors and everyone else involved in the logistics and set-up.
MARii has set the new dates i.e. 2 – 5 July, for the Malaysia Autoshow 2020, at MAEPS, Serdang. This is of course dependent on the ongoing monitoring of the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak.
