2019 Toyota Corolla Altis Launching In Malaysia Soon; Now Open For Booking
All authorised Toyota dealerships in Malaysia are now accepting bookings for the upcoming all-new Toyota Corolla Altis, pending its official launch and price announcement. The Corolla nameplate is considered as the best-selling car in the world and is among the first cars to be assembled in Malaysia about 50 years ago.
According to UMW Toyota Motor, there will be two variants of the all-new Toyota Corolla Altis available i.e. 1.8G and 1.8E and it estimates on-the-road price to be RM136,888 and RM128,888, respectively (pending official confirmation).
It can be safe to say that the 1.8L engine will be the 2ZR-FBE, which is available in the Thailand version. This engine produces 140 PS @ 6,000 rpm and 177 Nm @ 4,000 rpm, and is paired to a CVT.
The all-new Corolla Altis also gets the latest Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), an integrated safety systems that provide a safer driving experience and other sophisticated features.
