Honda Malaysia Launches 12th 3S Dealership in Johor
Pasir Gudang, 7 December 2018 – Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has officially launched its 12th 3S dealership in Johor. The latest Honda 3S Centre is located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and is operated by Yong Ming Motor Sdn Bhd. This new dealership brings Honda Malaysia’s total to 97 dealerships nationwide.
The Yong Ming Motor Honda 3S Centre is located at PTD 209607, Jalan Bandar, Business Centre II 81700, Pasir Gudang. This 77,000 sq ft building came at an investment of RM18.5 million and is equipped with latest facilities and equipment. The 4-storey building (including basement parking) has 14 bays, made up of 9 Service Bays, 3 General Repair Bays and 2 Tyre Service Bays that can accommodate up to 30 cars per day.
This new Honda 3S Centre also comes with comfortable lounges for customers to relax in or catch up on work, with a free flow of food and beverages for customers. Parents can also occupy their children at the Kids Corner, and Muslim customers have prayer rooms to use.
Yong Ming Motor has a well-established relationship with Honda for over 48 years. The Pasir Gudang dealership is Yong Ming Motor’s second Honda dealership. The first Yong Ming Motor Honda dealership opened in Skudai, where they have maintained high quality sales and after-sales service which has enabled them to consistently emerge as a top dealer.

The new Yong Ming Motor Honda 3S Centre in Pasir Gudang will support Honda Malaysia’s initiative to bolster its after-sales service in Johor. In the past 5 years, Honda’s after-sales intake rose 51%. From January to November 2018, the southern region had recorded over 235,000 service intakes, which is an increase of 13% against the same period last year.
In terms of sales by region, the southern region is the 2nd highest contributor with more than 17,000 units sold between January and October 2018, an increase of 2% compared to the same period in 2017. Johor is the highest sales contributor in the southern region with over 12,000 units sold. The Honda City is the top-selling model in the south, contributing 24% of the sales figure, followed by Civic and CR-V with 11% and 9% of the regional sales.
