MAI Auto Festival 2018 In Bagan Datuk This Weekend
The Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) will host the MAI Auto Festival 2018 in Bagan Datuk this weekend (30 March – 1 April). The show will be held at SMK Hutan Melintang, Bagan Datuk, Perak.
Present at the festival will be 61 automotive industry players consisting of 12 brands like Proton, Perodua, Kawasaki, Land Rover, Honda, Peugeot, Kia, Mazda, Haval, Toyota, Demak and the Tan Chong Group, as well as accessories and components companies.
Besides the displays of cars and the latest EEVs (Energy Efficient Vehicles), there will be an exhibition of locally produced goods and a career fair. The career fair will have interview sessions daily from 3 pm – 6 pm, for anyone (with at least SPM qualifications) interested in entering the automotive industry.
Additionally, there will be a Car Care Week program with free safety checks for Proton and Perodua vehicles. There will be attractive prizes for those who take part in the Car Care Week.
Other activities include test drives, a 4×4 off-road challenge, food trucks, a fun run, as well as a concert featuring acts like XPDC, Nik Putra, Yabang Khalifah, Laika (Akademi Fantasia) and Eka (Akademi Fantasia).
Visitors to the festival will also stand a chance to win a Perodua Axia, courtesy of MAI.
The MAI Auto Festival 2018 is supported by Perodua, Pihak Berkuasa Pelaksanaan Koridor Utara (NCIA), Boon Siew, Kelab Rakan Malaysia, BHPetrol, Regional Part Centre (REPAC), Jabatan Hal Ehwal Khas (JASA) and Modenas, and caters to the car buyers and enthusiasts in the Perak region, who may not be able to attend the Malaysia Autoshow 2018 MAI which will happen from 26 – 29 April in MAEPS, Serdang, Selangor.
