Only 1,020 Units Of Honda HR-V Mugen Limited Edition Available
The Honda HR-V crossover, the best-seller in its segment, gets a limited edition run with the Mugen body kit, becoming the third Honda model after the Civic and Jazz to receive the Mugen treatment. The Mugen kit is only available exclusively for 1,020 units of the range-topping HR-V V variant and is priced at RM118,800 (without insurance); picking the White Orchid Pearl body colour costs an additional RM300.
The Honda HR-V Mugen body kit consists of a Mugen front grille, front under-spoiler, rear under-spoiler, side under-spoiler, tailgate spoiler, sporty decal, Mugen gearbox emblem, Mugen exterior emblem, and carpet mat.
Everything else in the HR-V V variant remains as is i.e. the spacious interior, multi-configuration rear seats with Utility Mode, Tall Mode and Long Mode, 6 airbags, as well as the 1.8L iVTEC SOHC engine with continuously variable transmission. Other features include Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Auto Brake Hold (ABH), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
Demand for the HR-V remains high and Honda Malaysia is committed to timely delivery of vehicles to its customers. Nonetheless, waiting period for the HR-V remains between 1 to 2 months.
The Honda HR-V Mugen is available for viewing and booking from 5 March 2018 (from 13 March for Sabah, and from 19 March for Sarawak).
