Honda Malaysia continues to expand its reach in East Malaysia with the official launch of a new Honda 3S Centre in the timber and agricultural town of Keningau, Sabah. The latest Honda 3S Centre is operated by Vermillion Autohaus Sdn Bhd and is set to provide more convenience to the growing Honda customer base in Sabah.
The Vermillion Autohaus Honda 3S Centre is located at ¼ Miles, Jalan Keningau-Tenom, Kampung Pampang 89008 Keningau, a town strategically placed between Tenom and Tambunan, enabling it to also serve these neighbouring townships.
Vermillion Autohaus had invested about RM 2.5 million into this 3S Centre which has a 5,000 square feet built-up area. It is equipped with the latest tools and equipment and has 4 service bays with hoists that can accommodate up to 30 cars a day. These service bays include 2 fast service, 1 general repair and 1 tyre service. Adhering to Honda standards for its 3S Centre, Vermillion Autohaus has also furnished it with facilities like a comfortable Customer Lounge, Café Counter with a variety of free-flow snacks and drinks, Surau and Kids’ Corner. Other services Honda customers can look forward to are free Wi-Fi, car wash, road tax renewal and insurance coverage. The after-sales team are trained and qualified technicians who are capable of running diagnostics and applying systematic approaches to ensure that all Honda vehicles are maintained according to set guidelines.

According to Honda, the East Malaysia region has experienced growth in service intake, which has increased to more than 53,800 units in the January to October 2017 period versus the 46,800 units serviced in the same period the previos year. The significant growth of 15% in terms of service intake alongside the growth in sales has translated to a need for more Honda centres in the region. Currently, Vermillion Autohaus is Honda Malaysia’s 5th 3S Centre in Sabah (it has 90 dealerships nationwide). Honda Malaysia also believes the introduction of the new hybrid variants in its produc line-up can attract the working adults in East Malaysia, especially with its attractive advanced features and value proposition.
