Toyota Malaysia Introduces 10-Star Personalized Care For Better Ownership Experience
UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) is continuing its efforts to enhance the ownership experience of Toyota vehicles by putting focus on improving customer service with the ‘Care That Amazes’ initiative. It starts from the time you show interest in buying a new Toyota vehicle at any of the nearly 100 Toyota showrooms around Malaysia. Financing of the vehicle(s) can be done with Toyota Capital Services or other UMWT panel of financing institutions.
New Toyota vehicles are covered by a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty (subject to terms and conditions, of course); the warranty can also be transferred to another owner when the vehicle is sold off while the warranty is still in effect, which helps retain the resale value.
New Toyota owners also get to enjoy the exclusive Toyota 24Seven Road Assist service, which provides emergency support (including towing services and assistance with flat tires) nationwide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for free in the first year of ownership. Additionally, UMWT also offers assistance in renewal of road tax and insurance.
Toyota Body & Paint Centres nationwide are equipped to repair vehicle damage and offer a 1 year warranty on the parts used (terms & conditions apply), while a Customer Support team is also available to provide assistance in special situations so that disruption to your mobility is minimized.
When it comes to servicing your Toyota or searching for service history and other information, you can use the Toyota Drive free mobile app (available for Android and iOS) to make servicing appointments or search for information.
Further, TopMark (a wholly-owned subsidiary of UMWT) offers top-quality pre-owned Toyota vehicles, if you opt to not buy new. The pre-owned vehicles are thoroughly checked (even to the extent of whether there are any encumbrances like unsettled hire-purchase ownership) and are almost as good as buying new. To provide peace-of-mind, the pre-owned vehicles come with a 1-year warranty (subject to term and conditions).
On another note, UMWT President, Ravindran Kurusamy, announced that the company is being prudent with its 2017 sales projection with a target of 70,000 units, and 4 new models planned for the year.
