Enhance Your Driving Skills With Volkswagen Malaysia’s Polo P Project
Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has launched the “Polo P” project in order to help educate and empower newly licensed drivers with skills and knowledge to stay safe on the roads.
The “Polo P” project will visit several college and university campuses to teach participants basic car maintenance, visual checkpoints, proper sitting and steering positions (these matter more than you think they should), as well as defensive driving skills which include emergency braking and slalom. All this will happen over a weekend. The “Polo P” project started this past weekend at the UTAR Sg Long campus (Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman) and will move on to:
Nilai University, Nilai 8 – 9 April
Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Subang Jaya 8 – 9 July
Sunway College, Johor Bahru 19 – 20 August
Participants will use the Volkswagen Polo 1.6L hatchback in the driving exercises. Armed with a 6-speed automatic transmission and maximum torque of 153 Nm, it has the right size and the right amount of zip for the exercises.
To register for the “Polo P” project, visit www.volkswagen.com.my or send a private message on Volkswagen’s Facebook page. Updates on future dates and locations will happen in these respective sites too.
