Here’s something unrelated to motoring for a change but it’s still a preview of an upcoming model… Bell & Ross, the watchmaker known for its aviation timepieces has previewed two models ahead of Baselworld 2017 – the BR 03-92 Horograph and BR 03-92 Horolum. In Latin,
Designed with the iconic Bell & Ross ‘circle within a square’ look, inspired by clocks in aircraft cockpits, the Horograph and Horolum are functional and minimalist. The Horograph features an uncluttered display with a graphic dial with clear digits for clarity and precision, like the clock in airport terminals. It has a case made of micro-blasted steel in a matte finish.
Meanwhile, the Horolum (‘lum’ derived from lumen or light) has the Superluminova phosphorescent coating for easy reading day and night. This luminescent coating is layered under a grey upper serction piece which has cut-aways around the numbers and indices to show it off. The dial glows an intense green like that lights used to light up airport runways. The Horolum’s case is made of micro-blasted brass-rhodium and it is limited to 500 pieces.
