ETCM launches Nissan X-Trail T31 facelift

When Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd launched the Nissan X-Trail T31 back in 2010, they were about two years late and most other markets were already receiving the facelifted version. This refreshed model is now officially available in Malaysia, finally bringing us up to speed with the rest of the world.

Still fully imported from Indonesia, the facelifted Nissan X-Trail 2.0 X-CVT FWD is priced at RM148,800 on-the-road with insurance, putting it head on with its old rival, the
Honda CR-V. Changes in this facelift include reprofiled front bumper and grille, and redesigned head lamps and tail lamp cluster. The arches are now filled with bigger 17″ five twin-spoke alloy rims for an overall sportier appearance.

Inside, the X-Trail is given a darker interior tone, inline with the direction adopted by ETCM’s more recent introductions. Steering wheel, parking brake lever, and gear lever are now wrapped in leather, and the instrument cluster’s illuminated fine vision meter is finished with chrome ring surrounds. On the centre console is a 6″ touchscreen multimedia navigator with reverse camera.

In conjunction with the introduction of the new Nissan X-Trail 2.0, ETCM is running a campaign entitled ‘Which Road X-Cites You?’ and the ‘X-travaganza’ Promotion. The former campaign is aimed at specifically promoting the X-Trail alongside the Navara and Livina X-Gear as Adventure-themed vehicles. The latter ‘X-travaganza’ promo offers rebates of up to RM10k and free gifts for these selected Nissan models.
