New Hyundai 3S in Prai
Sime Darby Auto Hyundai has officially opened its new 3S (sales, service, and spare parts) centre in Seberang Perai, Penang, over the weekend amidst a specially held Mother’s Day celebration with Hyundai owners. Officiating the launch ceremony was Mr Kim Hoo-Keun, Hyundai’s Head of Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters.
Mr Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd (HSDM) explained that the decision to relocate its Prai dealership to this newer bigger facility is to cope with the increasing number of Hyundai vehicles in the region. Some 1,648 Hyundai vehicles have been registered in Prai since 2007, and the company is forecasting more to come.
The new facility, which is also situated at Jalan Baru like the preceding one, was built at a cost of RM6 million with a total built up area of 17,483 sq ft. Its facilities are in compliance with the worldwide Hyundai Dealer Enhancement Programme, featuring a premium Wi Fi lounge and free flow of beverages for the comfort and convenience of customers and visitors.
For after sales, the new facility has six service bays to cater for regular services. Room has been made available for possible expansion to 12 bays should demand arise. There are also spray-painting facilities available to handle body and paint repair works. In addition to regular servicing, SDAH Prai also offers Quick Service, 24-hour key drop service, and shuttle service to Megamall Pinang.
As part of the Mother’s Day celebration in conjunction with the showroom’s opening, customers who are mothers or who brought their mothers along were given a bouquet of flowers and a RM300 dining voucher at a 5-star hotel.
