Perodua to the rescue of flood-hit customers
It’s the monsoon season, and having read for months about the floods in Thailand, several areas in Malaysia are being hit by severe flash floods as well. Videos are aplenty on Youtube showing the devastation in Kajang, and yesterday the stretch of Jalan Tun Razak outside the National Library was similarly flooded.
As a gesture of good will, Perodua is generously offering a small measure of relief to owners of Perodua vehicles hit by the recent floods in Kajang, Selangor, Terengganu and Kelantan. Assistance is coming in the form of towing services, parts discounts, and free inspections to assess vehicle damage. Help is a phone call away at the toll free customer care line at 1800-88-6600.
“Our customers matter most to us and this value-added service is provided to help relieve some of the burden our customers have to deal with during this disaster,” Perodua Managing Director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
On the assistance given, Aminar said that Perodua is offering free towing service up to a maximum of RM100 (one hundred ringgit only) to the nearest of 171 Perodua service outlets nationwide. In addition, flood damaged vehicles will receive a 20% discount on selected parts that include all electronic items, carpet, vehicle seats, door trims and engine overhaul gasket.
