Quick Service and 24-Hour Key Drop for Hyundai customers
A common gripe customers usually have when servicing their cars relates to time – they don’t have a lot of it to spend, yet the whole servicing affair have a tendency of being very time consuming. Addressing this issue, Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd recently launched the Quick Service and 24 Hour Key Drop facility to cater to the needs of customers who are pressing for time.

Services offered under the Quick Service include:

The Quick Service facility is currently only available in Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s outlets at Glenmarie, Old Klang Road and Plentong. Customers wishing to use this service are advised to call in make an appointment and, if possible, brief the technician over the phone on the service requirements before sending their cars. “We have allocated two service bays for the Quick Service programme and two technicians to each vehicle. The Quick Service team will prepare the necessary part that needs to be changed even before the arrival of the vehicle to ensure quick turnaround,” said Mr Dennis Ho, Director of Sime Darby Auto Hyundai Sdn Bhd.
“The Quick Service is convenient for busy people who are always on the move. With quick service, customers need not wait impatiently for hours at the service centre,” added Mr Ho.
Customers are advised to make an appointment before sending their cars in.
The outlet at Glenmarie also now has a 24-Hour Key Drop facility, which allows customers to drop their cars at any time of the day without needing an appointment. Customers are required to fill up a form and deposit their car keys into a secure drop box. The service also comes with a free car wash, and carries no extra charges.
“The 24-Hour Key Drop facility is secure, so customers need not worry about the safety of their cars as we have security personnel on duty 24 hours a day. Once the envelope is picked up by the Service Assistant, a call will be made to the customer to confirm the type of service or repair required.
“The Service Assistant will then inform the vehicle owner once the car is ready for collection and explain the content and charges for each work done,” said Mr Ho.
For company fleet customers, there is the Fleet Customers Outreach Service, where technicians will be sent out upon request to service and repair vehicles.
