Zerotohundred.com Time To Attack 3 smashes 2:30 threshold
Zerotohundred.com’s hugely popular Time To Attack series completed its third round last weekend in Sepang. Dubbed ‘The Final Call’, the latest round is the last chance for drivers to earn their place in the final invitation-only round to be held at the Sepang International Circuit in December.
In the first round of the series, Farriz Fauzy clocked a time of 2:30.421 on a damp lap using his Links-tuned Nissan GT-R. His record stood strong in the second round, but was demolished early on by Ling Ken Ji, who clocked 2:28.720 with his Garage R Nissan Silvia S15.
Competitors were having a real go at it, consistently clocking times no slower than 2:32. However, it wasn’t until late on that Andy Kazama snatched glory from under Ken Ji’s nose, bringing his Honda Civic Type R home in 2:28.249.
The Time To Attack series is organized by Zerotohundred.com in collaboration with High Performance Challenge (HPC) to mark the popular website’s 10th anniversary. Times clocked in the series will be permanently posted on a virtual Hall of Fame displayed in ZTH‘s site.
Come December, the fastest drivers of the three rounds will be invited to slog it out again for ultimate honours and bragging rights.
