PEUGEOT 308VTi WINS ASIAN AUTO/VCA AWARD
Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official franchise holder of Peugeot Automobiles in Malaysia is pleased to inform that the Peugeot 308VTi that was introduced in January this year has been presented the Asian Auto – VCA Auto Industry award for “Best Local Assembly Compact Car” during the Asian Auto – VCA Auto Industry Awards 2009 powered by Mobil 1 award presentation event that was held on 8 July 2009 at Saujana Hotel in Subang, Selangor.
The award affirms the model’s relevance and value for money in its category. Mr Daniel Fernandez, Editor of Asian Auto, one of Malaysia’s earliest and most well known auto publications said “the model was selected as the recipient of the award because it surpasses all other competitors for in-class safety, build quality, comfort and material plan”.
In addition to the award, Mr Derick Tan, Marketing Manager of Nasim Sdn Bhd informs that the Peugeot 308VTi will now also be available in 2 new colours; Babylon Red (which is also available with the 308GT and 308Turbo) and Ocean Blue. The colour options for the 308VTi are now Nera Black, Aluminium, Thorium Grey, Babylon Red and Ocean Blue. The new colours were added due to strong demand for the colours by customers. Tauranga Blue and Lunar Mist have been discontinued.
The Peugeot 308VTi is also available with the Peugeot Lion Save package, which entitles customers to a 70% discount on scheduled service maintanence charges for the first 60,000km or 36 months, whichever comes first. In addition, Nasim Sdn Bhd is also giving FREE Solar Gard tint vouchers to the VTi customers. This Lion Save and tint package is still available till further notice.
With the award, new colours and the availability of the Lion Save package, the 308VTi is indeed great value for money for those considering the model.
