Euromobil receives ISO certification
SHAH ALAM, April 28, 2006 – Euromobil Sdn Bhd has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification, an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), for its Pre-Sales, Sales and After Sales facilities.
“Euromobil is intently focused on providing quality products and services for Audi customers. And we continuously work to improve how we deliver on that promise,” said Datuk Syed Hisham Syed Wazir, Chairman of Euromobil.
“Achieving ISO certification demonstrates the entire team’s commitment to our mission to provide the Unparalleled Ownership Experience to all our customers,” he continued.
ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard that gives requirements for an organization’s Quality Management System. To be certified to the standard, companies must implement a comprehensive quality management system that addresses all areas of operation – from internal staff training practices to product, delivery, and service.
External auditors with TUV Nord Group, a leading quality management systems organization from Germany, visited the Audi Hangar Glenmarie as well as branches in JB and Prai, where a comprehensive audit was conducted. Auditors examined all of Euromobil’s business and quality systems for tracking customer satisfaction and supplier performance.
Euromobil successfully completed the audit, and was officially certified for ISO 9001:2000 in March 2006. The ISO certification process ensures ongoing compliance because, once certified, companies are externally audited every year.
Euromobil Sdn Bhd, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EON Berhad and the importer and distributor of Audi cars in Malaysia. The Audi network of dealers and branches centres in Glenmarie, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Melaka, Ipoh and Kuching.
