First Aprilia Bikers’ Nite in Kuala Lumpur
APRILIA BIKERS NITE
Kuala Lumpur Thurs, June 30 -: More than 60 Aprilia and Moto Guzzi motorcycles made their way to the SOULed OUT Café Bar in Desa Sri Hartamas for the inaugural Aprilia Bikers Nite dinner.
Supported by Malaysian Aprilia and Moto Guzzi distributors, Moto Millia Sdn Bhd, the event is an effort to foster closer ties with customers and business associates.
About 150 guests, consisting mainly of Aprilia and Moto Guzzi owners, Klang Valley motorcycle dealers and the media turned up as early as 7.30pm for the dinner.
Present at the event was Moto Millia Sdn Bhd chairman En. Muhammad Fadhil Ahmad and its managing director En. Razak Al-Malique.
Also present was the pro-tem committee members of the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi club, known as myClub Aprilia, led by its president Mr. Roger Locke and it’s vice-president En. Wan Azuar Datuk Wan Daud.
The buffet-style dinner, featuring a mix of western and local dishes, was served to the guests followed by a slide-show presentation of the various motorcycle activities from last year to present by Moto Millia Sdn Bhd.
The highlight of the night was an exclusive video preview of the new Pegaso Strada 650 motorcycle which is scheduled to reach Malaysian shores by next month. This was followed by a short introduction of the new motorcycle by En. Razak.
The organizers, together with the myClub Aprilia pro-tem committee, also held a pre-registration of current Aprilia and Moto Guzzi owners to be part of the club.
Earlier, En. Muhammad Fadhil said Aprilia and Moto Guzzi’s entry into the Malaysian market, through Moto Millia Sdn Bhd, is a serious venture.
“Like our other automotive companies such as Competitive Supreme Sdn Bhd and Brooklands Motors Sdn Bhd, we have the same commitment to our Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands.
“We believe in our products by providing all the service, parts back-up for it and the two-year, unlimited mileage warranty on all motorcycles provided by the factory,” he said.
En. Muhammad Fadhil added that as a responsible motorcycle distributor, Moto Millia Sdn Bhd dares to be pro-active and dedicated to their customers.
In his speech, En. Razak said the event was a success based on the number of Aprilia and Moto Guzzi owners together with dealers who turned-up.
“Tonight’s inaugural Aprilia Bikers Nite dinner initially started as a simple teh tarik session for our customers, but slowly became a full-blown event based on the feedback from our customers.
En Razak also thanked all owners and dealers for their support for the Aprilia and Moto Guzzi brands.
