Honda Malaysia Introduces the Limited Edition Honda City VTEC
Kuala Lumpur, 14 April 2005 – Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. today introduced the Limited Edition City VTEC which will definitely appeal to those who are looking for something bold and eye-catching. It emphasizes the versatility of the City model by providing aggressive looks, quality and durability while maintaining the legendary Honda driving experience.
The Limited Edition City features a package of genuine accessories produced by Honda subsidiary, Honda Access Co., Ltd.
Honda genuine accessories are fully developed by highly skilled Honda engineers and are produced under the same Honda Engineering Standards (HES) the vehicle is subjected to. Examples of durability tests include:
· Rough road driving test – Accessories are installed in actual vehicles and driven over a variety of road conditions to confirm installation precision and accuracy.
· Wheel impact test – Conducted in order to test the shock resistance of the wheel. A large number of other stringent tests are also being conducted on the alloy wheels produced.
· Fatigue test – Trunk spoiler and tailgate spoiler durability test is conducted by using automated robot arm for opening and closing of trunk or tailgate in order to comply with fatigue test requirements.
