V•Sixers: Southern Excursion ’04 Flag Off Ceremony
En. Ahmad Tifli Mohd Talha, Chief Executive Officer of Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, today officiated and flagged off the participants of the V•Sixers: Southern Excursion ’04 at Proton Platinum Showroom in Mutiara Damansara.
The V•Sixers: Perdana V6 Club has once again delivered a fun and adventurous driving experience to its club members via an excursion down to Johor. The V•Sixers: Southern Excursion ’04 will be held over the weekend of August 28-30, providing the members of the club a chance to experience the thrill of participating in an organized convoy coupled with the excitement of the various attractions in Johor.
The excursion will see the convoy of V•Sixers members traveling from North South Expressway, heading down South, passing, Seremban, Ayer Keroh, Pagoh and Machap before reaching Johor Bahru. The convoy will proceed to Desaru on the following day before backtracking to Johor Bahru and back to Kuala Lumpur on the eve of Merdeka Day.
The event saw the participation of 45 Proton Perdana V6 comprising of 100 members of the club. The flag off ceremony was witnessed and attended by various management staff of Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, Proton Berhad and sponsors of the event.
In his speech, V•Sixers: Perdana V6 Club President, Chan Eu Jin said, “The V•Sixers: Southern Excursion ’04 provides an excellent opportunity to gather the community of members together. We are thankful and appreciate the amount of support and recognition that the club enjoys from Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Berhad and Proton Edar Sdn Bhd.”
