More Dealers Added to Honda Network

Aiming to ensure that its sales and service network covers the largest possible area of the country, DRB-Oriental-Honda Sdn. Bhd. (DOH) has appointed a further seven new dealers in Peninsular and East Malaysia.

As with the new dealerships in the Klang Valley, no time is being wasted while new premises are built. Business operations at the new dealerships will commence at their respective permanent and temporary premises between mid-March 2002 and early May 2002. Each dealership will be selling the line-up of locally-assembled models, ie Honda City, Civic, Accord and CR-V.

Out of the seven new dealerships, three (Sendi Auto Sdn. Bhd., Sri Sutera Auto Sdn. Bhd., and Shared Auto Cars Sdn. Bhd.) will be starting their operations by mid-March 2002 at their temporary premises. The seven new dealerships will incorporate the 3S concept that provides Sales, Service and Spare parts under one roof.

The following are the seven new dealerships and their locations:

1. LEE MOTORS ALOR SETAR (CAR DIV.) SDN. BHD., SG PETANI, KEDAH
2. INTANMIX CORPORATION SDN. BHD., BUTTERWORTH, PENANG
3. SENDI AUTO SDN. BHD., SITIAWAN, PERAK
4. SHARED AUTO CARS SDN. BHD., SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR
5. IPTIMAS MOTOR SDN. BHD., KLUANG, JOHOR
6. SRI SUTERA AUTO SDN. BHD., JOHOR BAHRU, JOHOR
7. JIMISAR CORPORATION SDN. BHD., KUCHING, SARAWAK

With these additional dealers, the total sales outlets of DOH now stand at 45.
