Battery died. To be fair, the previous battery came with the car and it's actually for kei-cars ie; shoebox sized. Bought a Century DIN55L for RM310 at Ara Damansara. Changed it in 5 minutes. The old girl is up and charging down the road again. smile_tongue.gif

Last tank - 470kms
New tank - RM86 : 44 liters@RM1.91/l

The FC is stablising 450kms thereabouts. Am still gonna aim for 500kms per tankful.

Nothing much to report this time. Quite busy with work and haven't got around to visit EXD yet. Been noticing more ZXs about. Mebbe it's just me subconsciously looking to see fellow Citroen drivers. smile_approve.gif

hi
I just got citroen zx dec last year.. so far I love it.. I've read all your zx stories to exd, hope you will continue update it fr time to time..I've gone to Mat at batu caves for repairs. and gone there 3 times for repairs (radiator leak, driver door lock malfunction, front light bulb mati )

it's easy for me to go to his workshop because I can take lrt/komuter straight to batu caves temple. the temple/komuter station is 5 mins to his workshop (via car, and no jam). You can just call him to pick you up and will send you to the temple (komuter) if you need to leave yr car there.

My citroen's rear axle bengkok, it was like that since the last owner, am looking for second hand axle...new one plus workmanship costs RM1k. It's ok if 2 ppl are sitting infront but will hear the cracking sounds if ppl sitting at the back.

Not major problem according to mat, just need switch the back tyre every now and then. at the moment i'm driving alone most of the time..so no hurry to fix it. and I probably need to sit at the back to really hear the "sound" my son been complaining.

another problem.. the car sometimes (4 times so far) dies at low speed/idle...when i'm about to take a u turn, stopping at traffic light, at heavy jam. Haven't gone to mat to check the car yet. I saw Dr solah's blog post about it..he had the same problem..dunno if he got it fixed yet.

Last tankful - 430km
Filled RM96 for 50l
Got 460km

Filled another RM50
About 220km

Didn't post recently cos changed agency. Now ok liao. Will continue to update. smile_tongue.gif

Went to Penang during FT in my friend's W124 260e. Comparatively the Benz is more solid and stable. Good mileage too. But I still feel ADA trumps the Benz when it comes to comfort. The seats are more comfy to sit in rather than on. Highway travel means straight line performance and stability la. Not a place the ZX can shine cos it's no cruiser. I suppose it'll be on a trip to Cameron Highlands that kereta kecik ku will be in it's element. smile_thumbup.gif

But me thinks a W124 has a place in my home la. I kinda like the cruiser/bruiser image. smile_blush.gif

Why are you comparing a D segment car with a tiny car like a ZX?

Next time i fetch you to penang in my Roll Roys. Then you tell me ZX nicer or RR? Thanks. smile_tongue.gif

Hahaha.. not really comparing la. A study in difference jek....

ADA got a bit of a break during CNY as the family travelled more in the Matrix. So no fuel consumption figures yet. Closing in on 5000kms. Will be visiting EXD soon.
