yeah upgraded mine to Alpine CDA-137EBT. you can find almost all the kit required to convert from various website such as this one:

guys guess what. the speakers on the polo sedan have an impedance of 8ohms. no wonder the sound is horrible. i thot 8ohms are for home theater only. anyway changed mine to boston pro 60 components at KF audio and fitted the crossovers in the door. HU is standard. the sound now is awesome. crystal clear. loving every moment of it.
ps: the ice forum has grown cold, so i am posting here.

Strange vw strategy with ckd plan announced long ago but only smoke...don't they realise it will impact their current sale much? who wanna buy one when knowing a ckd (aka cheaper) is in "near future", especially in cost sensitive b-segment?
