The more I read, the more I'm inclined to the DA as my detailing work only consist of regular maintenance and some minor corrections (slight scratches and swirls).

Can anyone help list down the DAs which are available here in KL so I can go and test them one by one? Your help is very much appreciated smile.gif

Osren carries the Ultramate 880Watts DA with 8mm orbit. Price around the same as the power of the machine too smile_big.gif You can test it there too.
Then there are some people selling a slightly lower power China made ~700W DA with 8mm orbit through LYN forum. Reliability, build quality, etc... dunno... can get the same machine from China through aliexpress.com for a tad lower price.
Then there is the Meguiar's G220V2 which is darn expensive locally... cheaper from UK.
The local Dodo Juice KL representative used to carry some DJ 500W Buff Daddy DA but think all sold out and not carrying in anymore based on the last time I had a chat with him. You can go search for him thru Dodo Juice @ KL Facebook and ask.
Other than that... no idea... lots of people in MY go for Rotary instead. Less demand for DA, hence the expensive price even if it is from China.
Alternative is to import from UK a Kestrel DAS 6 Pro (for a 230V version).

There is also the Flex 3401VRG forced rotation DA which you can get from Singapore but little $$$

Eh... oh wait... there is also the king off all DAs, the Rupes Bigfoot which you can get locally... price tag $$$ blush.gif

source Meguiars polisher at Autogeek selling around usd160. but it's shipping charges is killing approx 80% of selling price.
Any other place can purchase Meguiars polisher cheaper? ebay & amazon do not allowed Meguiars ship to Msia.
