My rexton is rx270xdi has a problem with power.when ever i accelerate it doesn’t run as fast normaly.turbo and his sensor has been changed and all of engine system EGR,manifold,fuel filter,intercooler turbo,radiator all the piping all has been cleaned and yet still not power.then indicator light still appear.the car still no power.what could be the problem.could be the glow plug ?

Hi all,, i am new here and i am not sure if i will get my answer on that...
I just have purchase a used Rexton 2005 and i had several problems until fix them one by one,,, but the main question is:
How i will include my 4H ???
i can do the 4L run, but i am not sure about the 4H button.. please help me.
I push the button and nothing happens,,, is this normal? i mean no indicator light flash and i am not sure if the car goes on 4 wheels...in 4L the light is on, and the car goes for sure on 4 wheels.
Do i have a transmition problem?

Hi bro welcome to rextonhub!!! , from photo notice that your car is AWD aka Full time 4WD , not necessary to engage 4H as ur car running 4H full time..
where are you from ?

the picture not clear, I think yours is AWD..you don't have the 2WD button .

your model is a permanent all wheel drive, same as mine.

We cannot disengage the AWD, we can only switch to a lower gear ratio, which is 4L --> "low" for heavy terrain or steep slopes. Pressing the 4H switches back to "normal" 4 wheel drive.
If you want to check, if your low gear engages correctly, stop your car, put it "N" and then push the 4L button. After 2 seconds, you should hear the gear engaging with a "clack" and the 4L light should be illuminating in your panel.

If you start driving in 4L, you notice right away that you car is in low gear, the revs will be going much higher at lower speed. Max speed is somewhere around 60km/h. Be careful driving in this mode on normal road, don't do unnecessary sharp turns or accelerations. It will stress your gear / axles unnecessary, or can even cause damage. No problem in sand or gravel though, because the wheels can slip instead of putting all the torque on your mechanical parts.

You can switch back to normal gear, just press 4H (same procedure as mentioned above). Again you should hear a "clack", the light goes off, and the car should be in high all wheel gear again.

The part time 4WD models can select 2WD mode or 4WD mode, but now lower gear available ( if I am not wrong).

How much did you pay for your car in Bulgaria ? Would be interesting to compare.
Guess it might be imported from Russia.

Part Time 4WD has both 4H and 4L, as well as 2H. We tested on loose sand during the Cherating Trip, Part-time 4WD on 4H's tire track looks continuous while AWD tire track looks staggered, probably resulted from ESP control. That's why it comes with ESP off function when the wheel stuck in loose sand or mud.

Hello everyone, i am new here.
Just pay deposit for a 2005 Rexton 270xdi.
Still not 100% sure what spec is it, will try to find out tomorrow.
What i am sure it is leather seat with 3rd row blower, so at least it is a full spec i think.
How to differentiate it is a full spec or lux spec?
