Soundguy, there is something slightly illogical to me about putting the box
in front of the ECU since the chip is programmed to control the injection
sequence on CR diesels and modify injection rates in certain conditions
(high throttle, over revving etc). If the box is not affecting the mapping
then it's not doing anything, correct or not? Smile

If the device is fitted before the ECU, then i would imagine that the
input to the ECU is being modified(to fool the ECU). However, this would
contradicts the ECU's function the protect the engine from possible damage.

Modifying the output seems more logical.
But then, would the ECU be smart enough to change the output in reaction
to the new input parameters received.
Kind of confusing unless the detail functions of the device is stated.

hi buddyclub,

I have a sorento (diesel 2005 model) and need more info regarding the
Superione. I have read on our local car tuning magazine and looks like
a "T" shaped metal piece and sells for RM299. Is it the same? Do u think
it worth it?

My major complain on my sorento would be the diesel clatterring. Somehow I
cannot get over it. With yours installed, you mentioned it was smoother
and improved performance. Can u pls tell me by how much? Did the clatter
reduced?

Apart from that, do u remove it when servicing time?

Thanks

exbmw,

Dunno about the Superione but the bottom line is that you should try it
out before committing. My friend is willing to let you try it out if you
show real interest!

Hi all! A friend tells me that there is a device that can enhance low RPM
performance in EFI 'common-rail' diesel engines which he has just brought
into the market. Now, I myself do not have a diesel car/SUV but I was
quite impressed with the results on his Sorento! I know how much it s****
when the is a lack of power when pulling out of corners, climbing hills,
etc. so this may just be the answer. I know it can be done for the
Sorento, Rexton, Hilux but others please check back so that i can find
out for you. He also says it is a quick installation and does not mess
with your existing wires, etc. so your warranty will be intact. Any
takers?

There are a lot of diesel engine enhancement products in the market. A lot of things you can do.
